An even looooonger day

I don’t think I’ll be posting for at least a few days.  Dear Hubby’s 81 year old mother took a terrible fall down her cellar steps.  Thank goodness he found her soon afterwards.  She’s in critical condition.  Now between hospital runs, runs to her house to take care of her Border Terrier, and one of us having to stay with Gavin (and Patty) to keep him from messing with his ear…well, life has gone from hectic to chaotic.   Is there such a thing as sleep?

  1. All best wishes and time for sleep are winging their way to you. Take care of yourself, so you can take care of those who need it.

  2. Oh my goodness, if it’s not one thing, it’s another. I hope things will settle down for you soon and good thoughts heading your way for you, your hubby and for his mother.
    Hug those Bullies for me.

Thank you for your good thoughts and kind wishes.

Mom is still listed as critical. She was alert and when DH saw her today. We’re not sure if she knows that she has an angel who has been keeping a close eye on her since they admitted her. Our Goddaughter works in the hospital as an RT and has been checking on her whenever she can.

  4. I know you well enough to say that you’ll come through this crisis with flying colors. You may even use this predicament in one of your novels. Hang in there.

Thanks Jane. So true about using it, there are a few ideas percolating.
