Writer (n) 1. One who writes 2. One who engages in literary composition
I'm a writer. Writers have an insatiable curiosity. I start my day with the question... what if?
I usually end my day with WTF? Lately, I start and end my day with WTF!!!

I’ve been in snow like that a couple of times. Yes, it’s weird to have snow packed against your window. Even more weird when it’s packed against the door so you can’t get out.
Thanks for the reminder. I’ve been complaining about the bitter cold, but reading your post I realized it isn’t that bad.
Amen to that. I too have lived in areas where the snow was like that. I do wish I could’ve posted the pictures…Maybe if you check out Lead, South Dakota they will have the pictures posted somewhere.
Yikes that’s a lot of snow!! Another point for this area is, our temps don’t nearly reach 40 degrees BELOW zero!! I hear that’s been North Dakota’s temps as of late.
Yikes! That’s cooooold!
Wind plus snow packed the snow against the front door with no way to open it. And I was home with a young Golden Retriever who had her legs crossed.
But since she had never gone in or out the back door, she was not about to start now. So, I picked up and carried my gal who now weighed over 60 pounds, to her usual spot.
Business done, like a flash she headed for the front door and then turned to me to come and open it. She was cold!
I had to get my neighbor to help me carry her into the back door – she wasn’t going to do that again. His wife baked her some special treats to help her get over this horrendous violation of her doggie routine.
I’m afraid with these two that would be the first time they’d break their housebreaking.
I saw the pictures that were posted as from Lead, South Dakota and many were recognized as from Ontario and Quebec, Canada after the snow storm of 2006.
Another good reason for me not to post the pictures.
