Endings

 

     She’d become so thin and frail that she was hardly recognizable.  She smiled at him when he last saw her.  They buried her alongside her husband at two o’clock on Wednesday afternoon.  Above her shrouded in gray the sky shed tears over her.  Her son wept.

  1. That’s a beautiful flash. Have you tried putting anything on the blogspot where they tell a story in just six sentences? I think you could manage it 🙂 It’s such a talent to create so much emotion in a few lines.

    No I haven’t–this wasn’t meant to be anything other than what it is.
