Trapped again
Day two of street work brought another rude jack hammer awakening and having our driveway blocked all day. With an entire street to park the back hoe and trucks on, yes, they had to block the only driveway–ours.
I won’t go to the grocery store until next week because I refuse to shop on a weekend, especially this time of year.
However, I do hate feeling trapped and we certainly have been that for the last two days. Therefore, I might take a trip to the farmers market if I feel like braving the crowds.

If I were you I’d go to the work crew and ask them to unblock my driveway that they’ve been blocking over however many days. Explain that you can’t get out to go grocery shopping and there’s plenty of other parking to be had.
Had we asked they probably would’ve moved. It’s just the ‘feeling’ of being trapped and the idea that with the enire street free they had to park here….
I don’t know why they didn’t park against the cemetary fence…THOSE folks won’t mind, hehehe.
Or even park across the street…
