The year ahead

As I look forward to this new year of 2012 I wonder what’s in store for us.  I do hope we don’t have a repeat of 2011.  This year I haven’t made any resolutions.

Last year was filled with much sorrow for The Curmudgeon when he lost his Mom.  Then the overwhelming stress began for me in dealing with the hoarded mess that was her house.  I never would have been able to do as much as I did over there without G’s help and the help of Nancy and her family.  I’ll never be able to thank them all enough.

I don’t need to repeat ‘the heart attack’ that was way too scary!  I hope my health will continue to improve this year.

Please 2012 do bring us some nice weather so we can go outside more than we did last year.  We had so much rain and wind we barely got to enjoy the yard all summer.  Our lawn is mostly dirt now since the rain caused the grass to die off in large areas.

I hope this year brings much joy to all of you.  Many hugs!

  1. I don’t know how many resolutions it takes to be considered manageable. I usually resolve to not make any and it’s one resolution I’ve kept with no problem, lol. But this year is different, I resolve to learn photography well enough to go pro, I also resolve to get more into Tai Chi and Qi Gong, they are both stress reducers, Lastly I resolve to lose the weight I haven’t been able to lose.

That weight thing…yeah, I need to do that. I gained a bit after the heart attack–that comes from quitting smoking.
