No meteors to be seen here
I wanted to see the Perseids but it is too bright here in the city to see any. I sat out in the yard in the dark and stared at the sky for quite a while and saw nothing but a few stars. It is truly too bright here. I wish I was visiting my cousins, I know they have a great night sky there.

There was nothing but clouds here and I was as disappointed as you 😦 Would have been amazing to see them!
Don’t feel bad, I didn’t see them either and my town is smaller than yours. Guess I’ll have to get back to Colorado and go for a drive in the mountains. It’s a sure bet, then.
Yeah, a little drive into the country and we’d see them for sure.
