Crap, Monday again.

Lately, I’ve dreaded Mondays more and more.   Mondays are when The Curmudgeon gives himself his Avonex shot and begins a downhill slide for the next four days.  For anyone new to this blog, The Curmudgeon (my husband) has secondary progressive MS.

By Friday he does better.  However, then it is almost Monday again.  It’s a vicious circle and one I’m hoping his next neurologist appointment changes.

He is going to ask his neurologist to stop his Avonex and put him on something else.  Keep your fingers crossed, his next appointment is coming up soon.

You all have a good one.

  1. I too am secondary progressive. I was diagnosed in ’84. I tried the big drugs and had reactions to all of them. I now take Naltrexone. No side affects! Ask your neurologist about it. Keep the faith. You are not alone.

I wrote the name of the medication down, although it might not go well with his pain meds.
