Oh, yes! I want it.

Oh, if only we’d hit the lottery for a big sum.  I found a house I’d be calling the realtor about immediately.

It’s not a new home.  It is older than I am…yes, that old!  It has gorgeous hardwood floors, wonderful bones, and character.  Another plus is that it has a fenced in yard for the pups.

It’s not a big home.  No, there would be no McMansion for me.  I have no need or desire for that.  I want a place where The Curmudgeon’s care would be easier.  Where climbing stairs for him is optional.

This house that I found has everything I want.  Come on lottery win!!!  I’d ‘sell’ this house to the next door neighbors for a minor sum, they could use the room.

You all have a good one!

Really?  Does anyone NEED a house like this?

  1. When I look at the pictures of communities in Europe, and how small their average home is, I wonder if they think we are totally nuts in North America. I work in the building department in my community and from time to time I get asked what the smallest home permitted is? It made me stop and think about how spoiled we are with our homes and back yards. 1000 square feet on one level is an ideal size I think!! With a 500 square foot garage for my fella to do his thing….:)
