Book value on The Curmudgeon’s pick up truck is nowhere near what he thinks it should be. However, the cost of his insurance, registration, and inspections each year are almost three times what my van costs. Not to mention what it costs to fill his gas tank.

He drives his truck maybe once every 3 or 4 months.

I say he should sell it and buy a cheap to run used car. We have no use for a gas guzzling pick up these days.
