So cold…how to take the chill off?
The house smells like lamb curry, one of The Curmudgeon’s favorites of the meals I make.
It sure did take the chill off. Although, I have had to cut back on the red pepper flakes lately for his sake.
Snuggled up on the couch with Lucy and her fuzzy, grey blanket. Sipping on a lovely cup of hot coffee while I finish reading another book.
All of these helped. It is now a mere 6 degrees and falling.
Isn’t it spring yet?

Another appointment with the weight Dr.
So I had another appointment with the weight doctor yesterday and much to my delight I have dropped another 4 pounds.
Yay me!

An open letter to the UN
Dear UN,
As a citizen of the United States I beg you to please help us regain control of our government. Help us to save our freedoms.
Please help us remove this crooked man from the highest office in our government along with the people who will be worse than he is when he’s removed.
Help us remove the religious right from power they do not have a right to hold.
Help us get back our ‘by the people for the people government.’
Sincerely,
Me

Poor Lucy had an owie.
Lucy had a boo boo on her butt.
She saw another vet At ABE Veterinary and made another conquest. She now has 3 of the vets and all of the techs and reception staff wrapped around her paw.
I was told I diagnosed her correctly and did everything right to get her through the weekend until she could be seen by one of her vets.
We go back on the 16th.

In with the new…
I am determined to get the things done I waited for him to get done for the last two years.
I will find someone to clean out the roofers mess in the attic so I can use it again.
I will then clear out the back bedroom so I can return it to an exercise room or office.
I will push him to get his room in order so we can put the dresser that matches his bed in there and, by removing all his clutter, make it easier for him to move about.
I hope to finally have the energy back so I can get the rest of the house painted and get the yard up to par.
We’ll see how far these plans get…
