Appointment with weight doctor went well….

No real loss this time but  we discussed a few new ideas and she suggested more fruits and veggies.  An increase of 2 to 3 more servings a day.

This should be interesting and to keep it at the same calories is going to take some adjustments.

The older I get…

I guess when you reach my age your optimism about people has taken a thorough beating and forever after limps along nursing bruises and broken bones.

I do not trust people as easily as I did when I was young.

I see a person with a more analytical eye and listen with a discerning ear for the truth.

I guard my heart with a fierce cage of thorns.

If I am your friend I am the one who will have your back with the speed of light.

Do not cross me, hurt me, or try to make me feel small. I have a long memory.

One appointment after another…

Looks like I’ll need to crock pot it most of next week.

We have appointments almost every day.

Between doctor appointments and having to run errands it looks to be a busy one.

Ugh. I hate weeks like that.

Whoa. March came in like a lion!

With howling winds and visibility zero snow.

Pity the dog who wanted nothing to do with going out except she had to pee and poo. She made it three steps off the porch. That trip was over as fast as she could go.

All day she only asked to go out when she could no longer hold it.

This was not the worst of it…

As if we haven’t had enough rain…

Gloomy skies all day turned to heavy rain at night.

My yard was only just beginning to get a bit closer to the dry side.

Welcome back to the mud hole.

Sort of glad I hadn’t bothered to mop my kitchen floor yet.

March begins…

Soon, I’ll add another year.

I wish it was in a warm climate, on a beach, alone with my dog.

The Curmudgeon has been getting on my last nerve lately.
