Monthly Archives: November 2018
I have one word for today…
VOTE
Now is the time…
Tomorrow The Curmudgeon, G, and I will go vote.
Let’s all get out and vote.
let’s vote to keep this country from falling back into the past and let us move forward to the future.
Vote for Medicare, Social Security, and affordable healthcare where no one dies because they can’t afford a medication. Where no one has to start up a Gofundme to pay for outrageous hospital bills. Where no one goes homeless because a hospital bill sets them on the streets.
Let’s vote to keep our air and water clean. Vote to protect our nations parks and protect our animals.
Vote for women’s rights, for lgbtq rights. Vote to keep children out of cages and prevent families from being ripped apart.
Let’s vote for keeping guns out of the hands of violent people.
Vote for disbanding white supremacist terrorist groups.
Let’s vote against racism, misogyny, and rape culture.
Vote for science, education, and clean energy.
Let’s vote like our lives depend on it, because they do.
Let’s vote BLUE!
So heart broken about our yard.
Today, every time I took Lucy outside I almost cried. Our yard is a wreck from all the neglect this year what with the heat and so many rainy days.
This yard never looked this bad and it’s upsetting. Our grass is all weeds and the gardens are overrun with weeds and vines.
I’ve lost the heart to work out there because every time I’d try to my back would go out and/or The Curmudgeon would be hollering he needed me for something.
Here it is November and the trees are just starting to change color and drop their leaves. When they finally drop, I do believe it will be all at once and I’ll be stuck with a ton of leaves and no way to get them up, or at least stuck in the gardens to smother the weeds.
On the dog side…I had to laugh and snap a picture of Lucy this evening she was passed out and snoring next to me.

What a day…
Lots of rain.
Poor Lucy’s back teeth were running boat races from holding her bladder for hours. She finally couldn’t take it any longer and braved the pouring ran. I had a towel ready for her when she came back in.
My cell phone went off with the wild siren and vibration. We had tornado warnings and flash flood warnings. I’m so glad we live on high ground.
Ugh, I HATE thieves!
72 degrees and sunny and I had to waste most of my day at the bank straightening out the Paypal charge mess.
Turns out there were even more Paypal charges on the card. Charges that amounted to $165.11.
We think the card numbers were stolen by someone at the Chinese food restaurant from which we get deliveries. Seems that a day after we ordered from there the charges began to appear. I do believe I’ll be stopping by there to let them know they might have a thief in their employ.

Goodbye PT guy!
So, we said goodbye to The Curmudgeon’s physical therapist today. His time was done.
Lucy got to play with him before he left (they had a relationship.) ;D
Now if I can keep The Curmudgeon doing his exercises, and he doesn’t shirk them, he shouldn’t need the PT guy to come back any time soon.
Wish me luck.
