This non president and congress have a lot to account for…

If ever someone deserved a good old fashioned tarring, feathering, and ridden out of town on a rail, it is #Twitler #notmypresident #whitehouserat #Cheeto and every member of congress who supports the bullshit they are ramming down our throats.

Gentlemen and ladies (and I use the terms loosely), You do not deserve to be in office. You have forgotten that We the People are your bosses. You are not ours.

It’s time you all joined reality. You need your salaries cut to the bone, your special privileges ripped away, and all that gravy scraped off your plates.

Your salary should be no more than the average American earns. You should pay into Social Security like the rest of the people do. Your medical insurance should also be the same as the average American.

You were elected by us to do a job. A job you have failed to do. Instead, you are working for big corporations and any other lobbyist who pays you enough.

This has to stop.

Give us back our clean water and air.

Give us back our public lands and the protection of the animals of our country.

Give us a safe infrastructure.

Stop spending money on wars and destruction and instead, spend it on taking care of the veterans, the poor, the old, sick and hungry.

Give our country back its humanity.

Give our country back its soul.

Stop with the racism, bigotry, misogyny, and homophobia.

Give us our heart.

Still true these days

If you ever injected truth into politics you’d have no politics. WILL ROGERS, Weekly Article #31, Jul. 15, 1923

I wonder what Will Rogers would have to say about #Twitler #TheWhitehouserat #Cheeto? I’m sure he’d be as disgusted as most of us are. Only he’d word it so much better.

I’m betting he’d have a good time with The #idiotincharge’s nepotism. Never one to mince words and always on the side of the little guy, Will would’ve had a blast with twitter and #derTwitler’s Childish temper tantrums.

Hey, Will, if you’re listening. I’m willing to channel your comments any day.

Another WTF is that idiot doing day.

We have truly fallen down the rabbit hole and unfortunately it’s not Alice’s wonderland we have found at the bottom.

This is a rabbit hole of despair, horror, and insanity.

A man with the temperament of a spoiled rotten three-year-old holds our people hostage. #Twitler #TheWhitehouserat and his evil cronies are stripping away all that made this country great and have turned us into the country that may well destroy this world of ours.

We will have factories belching toxic smoke again. Rivers, streams, and lakes polluted and burning. Air quality so poor you’ll have to wear respirators. Oh yeah #theorangetroll will make us great again. Great destroyers of beauty and life.

Please countries of the world sanction the #whitehouseidiot! Help us impeach him and drive his cronies out.

This cannot stand

It saddens me that #theorangebaboon  and the Republican party are out to rip apart all the legislation that protects our air, lands, water, and animals.

It saddens me that they have no desire to work for us as they should but are so greedy that lining their pockets ranks number one on their agendas.

It frightens me that #Twitler is ignoring our laws and doing as he pleases. Really, giving titles and offices to your son? Your daughter? Nepotism at its best.

It angers me that The Republicans and #Cheeto seem to have a need to gut all programs that aid women and children.

Education, so important, is tossed aside and his person who is responsible for it is completely unfit for the job. All she brings to the table is her wealthy ignorance and large bank account.

The whole ‘let them eat cake’ attitude of this administration is detrimental to us all.

Rise up! This cannot stand.

No time to rest…

Even though the #whitehouserat #twitler and his pocket monkey Ryan withdrew the Trumpdoesn’tgiveafuckaboutusnocare bill we can’t sit back and expect things to fall in place for We The People.

No, they will continue to do everything they can to make the ACA look bad and block everything they can to make it fail.

The republicans are also gutting every safeguard we have. We can’t allow that.

Continue to resist.

March.

Phone.

Email.

Be a pain in the ass about each and every item they try to take away.

Let’s make sure all women have proper, affordable healthcare, maternity leaves, and safety in their daily lives.

Let’s keep our clean air, clean water, public lands, endangered species and all protections for animals.

Fight the good fight, it’s only our lives we fight for.

And now from the realm of you have to be fucking kidding me…

As seen on the internet

1.”The Texas Senate passed a controversial bill on Tuesday that critics argue would empower doctors to lie to pregnant women.

Senate Bill 25, which will now be sent to the Texas House, prevents parents from suing their medical provider if their baby is born with disabilities, even if that doctor discovered the condition during routine prenatal testing and failed to inform the parents.”

2. The senate just voted to undo rules covering your internet privacy

3. The Senate voted 52-47 to remove protections for wildlife in Alaska. The bill overturns protections for wildlife in our National Wildlife Refuges in Alaska. One protection these bills overturn is allowing the killing of wolf pups and bear cubs in and around their dens, even by means of gassing dens. It also allows “hunters” to use aircraft to hunt bears.

4. A republican senator ridiculed women with breast cancer. A Kansas republican senator apparently thinks women’s health care is a joke… (I think they each deserve a mailbox full of bras.)

5. Not. A. Single. Woman. Was. At. The. White. House. Meeting. On. Women’s. Health.

6. Oklahoma state representative says rape and incest are the will of God. Oh, please tar and feather this guy!

And those are just the highlights from yesterday.

More things to rant over

Has anyone noticed the ‘natural gas’ ads that claim they are good for the ecology and all?

Did you also notice that the ads are Exxon/Mobil ads? Oh, yes they are. Look at the last few seconds of the ads and you’ll see Exxon/Mobil owns the ads.

Yes, big oil wants you to support them and forget that they are the biggest enemy of our delicate ecology. Think fracking, their desire to drill in our public lands without regulation, and the pipelines…mustn’t forget those nasty, polluting things.

Their ads are banned in the UK.

A letter to all nations

Dear World,

I wish to apologize for every faux pas and idiotic statement the #notmypotus #Cheetoincharge #Whitehouserat has made.

I did not vote for the moron and I feel that you all deserve to know that most of us are embarrassed that he even exists.

The fact that he actually garnered enough support to get as far as he did makes me want to apologize for those imbeciles who did vote for him and caused so much pain for the rest of us.

The Cretin in charge and all his billionaire con artist buddies are a blight on our country.

Help. I need asylum …preferably on a beach somewhere.

Sincerely,

The edge of 63

As a young woman, it never occurred to me that I’d have so much to worry about when I got older. Hell, 63 years of age to me was OLD and an age I’d probably not reach.

Well, here I am, teetering on the edge of 63.

Now, I worry about our Social Security getting raped by the Republicans, not to mention the pillaging of Medicare, affordable healthcare, and so many other things.

Seems the Republicans enjoy playing reverse Robin Hood and they steal from the poor to line the pockets of the rich.

When I was young, I didn’t have health problems and a need for life saving drugs.

When I was young, my husband hadn’t yet been diagnosed with MS. (Need I mention ALL the drugs he needs to make it through a day?)

When I was young, I quit my job on more than one occasion to go 2,000 miles away from my husband (who was still in good health) to care for my baby sister, not worrying about hours needed for medicare and time lost with a healthy husband.

At least that floor is clean…

The dogs had tracked in so much mud it had to be done. I can’t believe that it took me an entire day yesterday to mop the kitchen floor. I used to get every floor in this house mopped in that amount of time.

This is what happens when your back gets wrecked by a Curmudgeon and two dogs.

Anyway, today I am wearing red and not lifting a finger. I am on strike.

Save the EPA

What happened to that utopian future to which we looked to with such hope?

In my idealistic youth, I thought when I hit this age our world would be this utopia depicted by fiction writers.

I mean the year 2017 was so far off and strange sounding that it was a time of mythic inventions, miraculous cures for disease, equality for all, and no worries.

Well, it is so far from the truth it is frightening.

Instead we have a rise in bigotry, misogyny, stealth thefts of social security and medical aid by our own government, the EPA raped and pillaged so we can have dirty air and water like we had back in my idealistic youth.

The endangered species act tossed aside so their homes are available for pillaging by land grabbing, greedy people.

People are becoming more violent towards each other because the government aka Twitler, the orange troll, the idiot in charge, The Tweeto Bandito (I love that one) condones it! Hell, the fat man with tiny hands encourages it!

Oh, to be back in my idealistic youth knowing all about what is to come. I’d not do this life over the same way. I’d be hitchhiking to the sweetest, small beach town I could find and make it my home.
