It used to be one could actually relax
Relaxing these days is next to impossible as more and more reports come in about #45 and his family’s complete lack of morals and honesty.

New rule:
When a corporation pulls this sort of blatant act of pure greed that is harmful to the public, their rights to a patent should be pulled. The patented item should then be allowed to be produced by any drug company that wishes to produce it at a fair market price.

So many projects that he never finished or even started.
All of which he is incapable of doing now.
I look at what needs doing and my back clenches in pain.
The clearing out, the painting, the building of things, and fixing up things.
The indoor projects the outdoor projects.
The clean up, the repairs…
Some days are tiring.
Believe it or not I actually hoped a package we were expecting would come late in the day so I could blow off going anywhere.
Didn’t happen.
His package arrived before noon.
Therefore, I had to load him in the car, make a stop at the local CVS to pick up his medications, then run him out to get a haircut.
While he got the haircut I ran over to the grocery store and picked up a few items.
Once we got home I had to unload the car, put away groceries, and take Lucy out before I could sit down and take the pressure off my back.
An hour later I was cooking dinner.

Another day watching MS take its toll
The Curmudgeon won’t openly admit it but #Twitler has him scared. He’s terrified of losing our only income, the cost of his care going through the roof, and so much more.
It’s not like we don’t already have enough to worry about.

Sometimes it only takes one little thing…
Yes, one tiny thing can do it.
One thing can send me off in a torrent of tears.
Usually it is a sweet memory of one of our dogs. Nine of them were our family over the years. Number ten, Lucy, is still with us making more memories. We didn’t have kids.
Other times it’s a Mom or Dad memory that chokes my throat and fills my eyes to overflowing. Or Grama shows up in a whiff of good baking.
The most tears fall when it’s a Mary memory. We were the closest two sisters can be.
Kay memories are bittersweet. She died when I was in my teens. At one time we were close but at the end we weren’t.
Betty memories are few and far between because she wasn’t home much after I was old enough to know her. A few tears fall in her memory.
I guess it’s age or maybe my heart is too tender.
