Out like a lamb

The old adage held true around here.  March did come in roaring like a lion and it looks as though it will tip toe out of here like a lamb.  We did get some rain yesterday and today which we needed.  It was getting to the point where I thought I might have to water the gardens.

I’m happy that it was a cool and misty day because I didn’t feel as though I was missing anything by not being able to get out into yard.  The rain did push some of my daffodils into opening.  The gardens are looking nice even though I haven’t had time to get out there and do a major cleaning of the beds.  (Geez, that sounded like another laundry day.)

I’m hoping our magnolia tree waits to bloom until there’s no danger of frost.  I hate to see the blossoms get frosted and brown in one night.

Tonight the sky was clear and you could see the stars.  I  enjoyed the sight when I took the pups  for their late night last out.  The air was cool and fresh and a heavy dew had coated the lawn.

I can’t wait until it’s warm enough to sit outside at night.

About me was fun to read… I am over flowing in my family with computer Geeks and I just skim by…Lots of times you will here me yelling HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am reading “Montana Creed:Dylan” by Linda Lael Miller Just finished this morning “Alaska Brides” Great Christian book…–

    • Thank you.

I’m the house computer geek and spent a couple of hours last night trying to figure out why DH was having trouble on his account…when I finally found the problem it was one of those oh DUH! moments.

  2. We’re beginning to hear the frogs peeping/chirping, whatever it is they do around the pond at night. I love it. I can’t wait to sit out at night either, I hope to be in our new house by then, that will be even better. 🙂

    • I wish we had some of those nice little peeping frogs in our pond. All we have are Bullfrogs–see pic of one in my garden and pond pics. They don’t peep they CROOOOOAK. And they have an appetite for birds when they get big so we often have to move them along to a new habitat when they reach a certain size.

  3. We just had an ice storm followed by about 2 inches of snow. Not the 12 inches that they were predicting thank goodness. But I hate that we get 80 degrees for a week and then this mess. Gotta love the weather fluctuation here in KS.

Just found your blog from Linda’s and look forward to reading more of it and catching up.
