I am a dial up slowpoke
The clouds hung low and brooding over the city, thunder rumbled. Lightning flashed. My dial up connection went to hell in a hand basket…
One of these days, I’ll get a high speed connection. When I do, I’ll probably be amazed at the difference. For now, I have to stay with the dial up and be pokey. I can’t view videos that people E-mail to me—I keep telling them that but they don’t seem to get it.
As of now, I simply can’t justify paying what they want around here for a high speed connection.
I’ll keep plodding along here at a turtle’s pace while everyone else leaps ahead like rabbits…wait does that sound familiar?

If you can live with dial-up then don’t worry about videos – you’re not missing much believe me. Besides look at all the money you’re saving. High speed is so expensive – I only have it because of school. I also have a broadband card from Sprint installed at $60 a month (ye gads) so I can always connect to school if I’m on the road somewhere. I’ve had so much trouble with free WiFi in hotels in the past. Money, money, money – I’ll be glad when I finish this degree – I may throw this laptop in the river and forget about computers entirely! LOL
EEEKS! Maybe when I hit the lottery I’ll go to high speed.
