Where’s Waldo Owl?

There's Waldo!

There's Waldo!

Back in my post ’43 Days to Halloween,’ I wrote about the rubber owl I’d bought.  I named him Waldo.  Waldo has become a fixture in the house and an unending source of amusement.  Dear Hubby and I keep moving him.  I don’t think Waldo will be consigned to a box in the attic after Halloween.  We’re having too much fun.

It’s amazing how many places we’ve found to put him.  We’ve become quite creative.  It took DH a while to find him when I stuck him in the glass fronted (stereo rack system) cabinet.  (We keep our DVD player in there now.)  For the many days, that Waldo stared out at DH from there, DH didn’t find him.  G did—yes, she’s also enjoying the game.  It took DH a week to locate Waldo.

Now I have to move him again—I’m thinking that inside the fridge might be fun.  I haven’t put Waldo in there yet.  Of course, that’s only if DH doesn’t move Waldo first.

  1. I love it – Where is Waldo now? Though while I think it’s a blast I’m sure Billy and Mr. Beckett would not only know exactly where Waldo was at all times, but would heavily disapprove of the entire event. True to their cattly natures things that move randomly are viewed with deep and heavy suspicion.

  2. So you’re the one!
Someone has been sneaking into my basement work shop and my garage and re-locating my tools. I spent a half hour yesterday looking for a tape measure.
    It has to be you!
    Cut it out!

  3. That is funny. My mom, me and my grandmother used to have a really horrible cd we did that with. We would visit each other and hide it in the house until someone found it and then it travelled to the next house. I even wrapped it up for Christmas one year and put it under my moms tree. This has gone on for many years and the cd has travelled tons of miles. Have not seen it in quite a while wondering where it has been put. That is cool you guys are having that much fun with it.

  4. Gavin & Patty, you got a owl in yer house? Get him outta there, he’ll jus keep yellin who, who, who at ya!

Feather, Darla, Pappy & LizzaBella ^..^

  5. Elena and GA–the pups haven’t noticed Waldo yet.
