And how was your holiday?

Yesterday would’ve been my father’s 97th birthday if he were still with us.  I love you Dad and miss you every day!

I made us a lovely dinner of leg of lamb, pickled beets and eggs, potato salad, and one deviled egg for both of us.  The Curmudgeon was in heaven over it.  It had to be one of his absolute favorite meals.  In fact, each component is a favorite of his so he was quite over the moon.  The deviled egg I served him made him giggle.

Gavin and Patty sure enjoyed the tidbits of lamb he provided for them.

I hope you had a wonderful weekend and a good day today!

  1. Looks nice and yummy!
My holidays??? not good, wrote about them in my post a little earlier 😦

    Sorry yours wasn’t good.

  2. We had a quiet Easter day but we had a lovely day Friday when we had a family lunch in Jennie’s new house to celebrate our eldest grandson’s 11th birthday.
Another coincidence, yesterday was my mum’s birthday, she would have been 104. Like you I still miss her and often think how she would have enjoyed her great grandsons and would be looking forward to our granddaughter next month. Hope DH has had a better day.

Your weekend sounded delightful. We wish The Curmudgeon could have many good days but with the way his MS is we are glad for a few.
